Ready for a bewitching contemporary beauty? Let’s check out this exceptional emerald and emerald cut diamond engagement ring.
It takes my breath away. Actually, it reminds me somewhat of this Art Deco emerald and diamond ring that I featured way back in the day – but instead of being round, this beauty is all lines. It also boasts a gorgeous emerald-cut center stone: 2.50 carats, K color, and VS1 clarity. It’s set in platinum and features an additional 0.60 carats of emeralds and 0.14 carats of diamonds.
I also have to say that I appreciate the wordplay of surrounding an emerald cut diamond with emeralds. It’s an emerald-wreathed emerald-cut diamond. Emerald-tastic.
It also has some lovely Art Deco-style embellishments, despite being contemporary. Check out the openwork gallery, the millegraining on the platinum edges, and the glamorous side stones. It’s a stunner.
What do you think? Does this contemporary emerald and emerald cut diamond ring thrill you as it does me, or did you prefer the antique circular version?
By the way, darlings, I’m going to rearrange my posting schedule a little bit starting this week. Don’t be too shocked.

<3 !!! and I adore *warm* diamonds… those in the JKLM range; not really 'yellow' but an antidote to the currant fad for super bright white stones that are so cold and somewhat lifeless in my eyes.
