I have a new jewelry love and I am going to share it with you.
The Jeff Cooper aesthetic is classic, simple, and elegant. That’s not to say the rings are simplistic; far from it. But they all retain a certain restrained elegance that makes it easy to see the they’re all from the same family.
I was first introduced to Jeff Cooper engagement rings at a trunk show at Mervis Diamond Importers – a trunk show where I had the honor of meeting the talented Mr. Jeff Cooper himself. It was a real pleasure; he’s a sweetheart. It was also wonderful to hear about this family-run company from its founder and father. Mr. Cooper assured me over champagne at Mervis that no ring goes out into the world bearing the Cooper name without being touched by Cooper hands.
This is Gwen. She’ll show you what I’m talking about. A tiny, deliberate, sparkling amount of detail makes this setting extraordinarily special.
This is Honor, a vintage-inspired bombshell of a ring. Here we have a slightly more complex take on the halo trend. Just look at the millegrain details – stunning.
Here’s Hazelle, which I have an enormous crush on. She’s one of the more elaborate designs. I can’t get over the fluid, perfect lines in this design. Jeff Cooper is a master of the side detail, which is a design element that you know always weakens my knees. It doesn’t hurt that Hazelle appears here with an Asscher, my favorite cut of diamond.
Some more beauties for you to admire. This should give you a good idea of how intricate and varied the Jeff Cooper engagement ring collections are. How wonderfully whimsical is the floral Leah (far right) with the pink center stone?
This fabulous (and free!) app lets you try the gorgeous Jeff Cooper engagement rings and wedding bands on either a conveniently flawless model hand or on a photo of your very own hand. The app lets you size and rotate the rings to your heart’s content, making it easy to get a realistic sense of what they would look like.
Even more helpfully, the app also contains a catalog of all of the Jeff Cooper engagement ring designs – which offers larger photos and all the specs you could want.
“Near me” is a store locator function that shows you where you can go to buy the ring of your dreams once you’ve discovered it. A handy “share” feature, in case you want to send pictures of your be-blinged hand to all of your friends (or to a special someone as a hint). Find it in iTunes here.
Here’s a bigger version of the ring from my screenshot. It would have been cruel to show you a teeny image of Annelise and not enlarge it for you.
All images and info in this post (besides my own app screenshot) come from the excellent Jeff Cooper Facebook page. Special thanks to the fabulous Barbara offering me a chance to test out the app and also for being generally wonderful.

My favourites are the top ones with the leaf motif. What is their name?

Hi Charlotte! I think I know which one it is, but I want to be sure. I emailed my contact at Jeff Cooper and she’s checking on it for me. I love those too – so delicate and lovely.
