These 19th century diamond earrings are just fabulous.
Seriously. How could anyone look at anything else while in the same room as these babies? They’re English, circa 1850, and are thought to be Indian inspired (the seller describes them as “of Anglo-Indian design”).
Each earring features a cushion-cut diamond surmount which suspends a concave flowerhead set with cushion-cut diamonds. Each flowerhead suspends an additional, larger pear-cut diamond.
The description doesn’t give a total diamond weight for these 19th century diamond earrings, but you can tell just from looking at them that there’s some serious ice going on here. They’re not particularly large – just under two inches long – but the diamonds against the gold packs a serious glamour punch.
