So we’ve already talked about my love for asscher-cut diamonds. Today, we’re going to look at a contemporary asscher-cut diamond ring.
A very large contemporary asscher-cut diamond ring, actually. I’d love to see that under full sunlight, wouldn’t you? Preferably on my own hand.
This beautiful thing comes to us from Betteridge’s Estate Betteridge collection. It’s a very simple design, but a diamond like that really needs no frills. Sometimes I think asschers are better off in simple settings, since they’re so interesting on their own.
That diamond is a huge 4.51 carats (K color, VS1 clarity), accentuated by partway pavé-set diamond shanks and basket.
This asscher-cut diamond ring is currently for sale at Betteridge. All images and info are thanks to Betteridge.
