I feel like we know each other well enough by now that you know you can trust me I say I’m going to show you something especially spectacular. You’re going to want to sit down before you look at this antique cushion cut diamond ring.
This ring is Edwardian, made in 1910-1920. Also, I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you this, but it has a huge diamond. You’re looking at a 6.48 carat antique cushion-cut diamond, which is accompanied by a GIA – Gem Trade Laboratory – report stating: ‘I’ color – ‘VS2’ clarity.
The setting – which is all original – glistens with French-cut diamonds down each side and tiny round diamonds all around the gallery.
Perhaps most spectacularly, this antique cushion cut diamond ring is adorned on almost every non-diamond surface with lovely, feather-delicate hand engraving.
Any ring can have a giant diamond – it’s the attention to detail from every single angle that makes this one so special.
This antique cushion cut diamond ringwas sold to some exceptionally lucky person by by Lang Antiques, and is currently listed in their archive. All images and info are thanks to Lang.
