It’s been quite a while since I’ve shown you a piece that’s just a straight-up, contemporary diamond necklace. I thought I’d remedy that today.
The title of the auction listing for this piece at Phillips was simple “A magnificent diamond necklace.” I thought that was perfect, so I kept it. Because, really, how else can this be described?
The auction listing at Phillips didn’t list a carat weight or an approximate carat weight for this diamond necklace, but it did describe the weight of the central pear dangle is 1.5 carats. It’s also G color and Internally Flawless.
It only looks a little bigger than the other dangling pears, and there are ton of those in here (I’m sorry, I was going to count them, but I gave up after the second time I lost count. I’m a writer; I’m naturally bad with numbers).
I think it’s safe to assume that this beauty comprises a lot of carats.
This fabulous diamond necklace was listed in a recent auction at Phillips. All images and info are thanks to Phillips.
