Pretty pretty pretty pretties.
Not my most articulate description, but I’m not wrong.
These lovely earrings are Edwardian, made in 1910. Each earring suspends a bezel-set old European-cut diamond, swinging within a single-cut diamond foliate frame. This is joined by a single-cut diamond ribbon bow, from three graduated collet-set diamond links, to the bezel-set old European-cut diamond surmount, mounted in platinum.
These earrings were sold as part of Christie’s October 21, 2009 Rare Jewels sale. All images and info are thanks to Christie’s.
