Hello, my darlings!
It’s been a crazy week at DitL HQ. Husband and I have been low key looking for a new place since he started his new job in Feb (he’s currently spending 3 hours a day commuting) and we suddenly found The One this weekend…so I guess we’re moving in the next couple of weeks. Holy moly.
I’m glad we’re doing it, but it’s definitely causing me some stress. I’m not generally a “yes, huge life decision right now go go go” type of gal. I like to plan and plan and make lists. So I’m still planning and listing, but apparently I’m also DOING. Goodness gracious.
The last time we moved, I documented the intense process of packing my rather large jewelry collection. I think the techniques I used last time were pretty successful, but I’m planning on making one major change: instead of stuffing each necklace into a straw, a Pinterest strategy that worked but was time consuming, I just ordered 500 tiny plastic bags and I’m going that route instead. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes!
I also need to get some boxes, I guess? Time for lists!
xoxo,
Becky
What I’m reading:
The Traitor’s Kiss by Erin Beaty. I just started this today, but I really like it so far! Sassy heroine, interesting worldbuilding, well-paced story. Looking forward to reading more of it.
The Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas. Rereading a great series by a favorite romance author. Sometimes it’s so relaxing to read something that you’ve read before. I read these recently enough that I sort of remember what happens, but not every detail.
