Nightstand: The Queen of the Tearling Erika Johansen. Rereading this book in preparation for its sequel!! I love love love the main character in Queen of the Tearling, so I was super pumped to get a review copy of the 2nd book in the series.
Coffee table: The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. This is the aforementioned sequel! I am still processing my feelings about it. It was definitely a good book, but it wasn’t what I was expecting.
On the metro: Hausfrau by Jill Alexander Essbaum. My fellow Book Riot-ers have been raving about this one, the story of a dissipated American housewife in Germany. I just started it, but I like what I’m reading so far.
