Art Deco aquamarine and diamond bracelet by Cartier.

This is a really big picture but I’m pretty sure you won’t mind.

This gorgeous bracelet is Art Deco Cartier, circa 1930 (in case you were wondering why it’s so pretty, that’s why).

It’s designed as a flexible strap decorated in a geometric pattern with emerald-cut, oval, square-cut and long hexagonal-shaped aquamarines. The total weight of the aquamarines is 60.50 carats(!). The aquamarines are accented by approximately 2.90 carats of round diamonds. The bracelet is 7 inches long, signed Cartier, London.

Art Deco diamond and emerald bracelet by J.E. Caldwell.

You know my feelings about Art Deco bracelets. You also know my feelings about J.E. Caldwell. Therefore, we should all be excited after looking at the title of this post.

Made in 1930 by J.E. Caldwell and Co, this bracelet is set with three oval-shaped cabochon emeralds, each within a circular-cut diamond plaque. The emeralds alternate with openwork circular and baguette-cut diamond panels, mounted in platinum. Isn’t it glorious? The roundness of the cabochon emeralds is the perfect contrast with the geometric brightness of the diamond patterns.

Art Deco diamond bracelet.

If I had an infinite amount of money, I would also own an infinite amount of Art Deco diamond bracelets. They’re wonderful.

It’s designed as three brilliant and baguette-cut diamond openwork panels, bombé bar links between, mounted in platinum.  It’s so simple and completely monochromatic, but the patterns of the diamonds and the clean lines in the design make it stunning.
