So I’ll tell you up front: this ring is ridiculous. I love it, but if I ever have enough money that I can buy absurd things like this, I hope I’m spending money on a lot of less stupid things too.
The jewels in this Duckie ring by Chopard are as serious as the shape is silly. The ring is made of 18k yellow and is covered with stones: yellow diamonds (10.96 carats), amethysts, Paraiba tourmalines (2.30 carats), blue and orange sapphires, topazes (15.09 carats), lazulites (1.14 carats), and blue cabochon sapphires.
I’m assuming this song was written about this ring. Or maybe the song inspired the ring. Either way, I’ve decided they must be related. I hope everyone at Chopard was singing it as they made this ring. By now I’m assuming you know what it’s going to look like. And you’re correct:
