Emerald, ruby and diamond bracelet, Oscar Heyman and Bros.

 This bracelet is simple and lovely.

Art Deco emerald, ruby and diamond bracelet, Oscar Heyman and Bros. Circa 1935. Via Diamonds in the Library.This little beauty was made by Oscar Heyman and Brothers in 1935, making it later Art Deco. It’s set with single-, circular- , triangular and baguette diamonds, highlighted at the center with a step-cut diamond within calibré-cut emeralds, cabochon ruby and carved emerald leaves.
There are grander, more eye-catching bracelets out there, but this one is just so pretty I can’t help loving it wholeheartedly. In a world where my bank account was no object, I would collect Art Deco bracelets like this and wear stacks of them at a time. Or just sit around in my jewelry closet (because I would have a jewelry closet) and admire them.

Important diamond necklace, Marchak.

I’ve had this necklace up on my screen for a couple of days. I like the ambiance it adds to my screen. That, and I knew it was going to be really hard to do it justice in photos.

This diamond necklace is by Marchak. It is designed as a series of articulated foliate and floral swags set with single- and circular-cut diamonds. The diamond swags are highlighted with yellow gold rope work.

Art Nouveau gold, aquamarine, diamond & enamel brooch.

This brooch is spectacular. And also rather strange.

Art Nouveau gold, aquamarine, diamond & enamel brooch by Georges Fouquet, circa 1901. Via Diamonds in the Library.Have you ever seen a brooch this shape before? So unique. It makes me think of Ever After…it would certainly draw attention.

This piece was designed by Georges Fouquet in Paris in 1901. It is designed with a central aquamarine panel suspending a large aquamarine drop in between two green tourmalines, within enameled oval forms embellished with diamond detailing. Forgive the long sentence. This brooch is made of 18ct yellow gold.
