Hello, my dears.
Wednesdays are normally my day off, but I need your input on something very exciting.
On Friday, I am journeying to California to finally visit the fabulous Lang Antiques in person. What I want to know is: is there anything you’d especially like to see me try on? It’s a quick trip, but I intend to make the most of it. Please peruse their website here or revisit pieces of theirs that I’ve blogged about before here or in the collages below.
Stay with me, that’s only half of the Lang pretties I’ve featured. I just can’t help myself.
xoxo,
Becky
Full disclosure: My trip to California is compliments of Lang Antiques, but my opinions remain my own.
Drat- wrong name…#50-3-1972. I have dreamt about that brooch for years…
YES!!!! Please try on the Athena stone cameo. I used a photo of it for my page photo when I ran a jewelry blog called The Philosopher’s Stone. Tell it I love it…and wish it was mine.
Is it this one? http://www.langantiques.com/products/item/30-1-5111
If yes: that’s amazing. She’s reading! I hadn’t noticed it before.
It’s fabulous. I’ll do my best to pass your message along 🙂
If I died and I could pick my own version of Heaven ~ it would be blissful eternity at Lang Antiques. Enjoy Becky! The Jewellery Gods are smiling on you as a reward for generously sharing your devotion to exquisite shiny things with the world.

If you’re willing to deviate from your collage pieces (which are no doubt superlative), this one is my personal favorite and I’m dying to see what it looks like on. I actually saved each picture of this to my hard drive in case Lang sells it or no longer lists it, I can still stare at it longingly.
I am entirely willing to deviate – those are just the ones I’ve featured on the blog. That ring is beautiful – I’ll see if I can try it on for you.
OMG!!! So, so Awesome!! What an amazing opportunity… I know it’s not listed
in your pics but I know EXACTLY what I’d try on: the Edwardian Gem Cabochon Sapphire and Diamond Ring. It looks just Stunning and to see another photo of that deep blue cabochon… *Swoon!! Have a Fabulous time!!
Thanks!!! I’m so excited. I love your pick – that ring is really spectacular. I’ll see what I can do 🙂
UNBELIEVABLY JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!
Hi Becky,
I’d love to see the gorgeous diamond ring on the top right of the 2nd collage.
Have fun!
A great pick! I love that one too. Such fabulous details.
I used to live in SF and spent much time staring into that window….
Very sensible of you.
Ha! Truth.
The Lacloche Frères sapphire and diamond necklace. I think it’s my favorite piece of jewelry I’ve ever seen.
I love that one too. Plus: Lacloche Frères!
ALL OF THE THINGS
I’m going to do my best 😉
