Pink is my favorite color. It’s happy, bright, soothing, and just the prettiest, IMHO.
The color pink is the inspiration for today’s post – that, and the RIDICULOUSLY GORGEOUS gemstones that Omi Prive loves to track down and make into incomparable gemstones. Are you ready??
Pretty pink rings by Omi Prive.
Hellllllll yes. This beautiful Omi Prive behemoth is a 5 carat cushion cut Padparadscha sapphire wreathed in more than 2.5 cts of diamonds. I love that there’s rose gold around the sapphire and platinum around the diamonds.
If you’re thinking Pad-par-what-a? then don’t you worry. A Padparadscha is a sapphire with a rare and beautiful peachy-pink color. Princess Eugenie and Lady GaGa both chose Padparadscha sapphire engagement rings in the recent past.
It’s a great engagement ring pick because sapphires are just below diamonds on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, which means that they’re strong enough for everyday wear. Also, they’re SO pretty. So so so so pretty.
This sensual beauty is a modern take on “pretty pink ring” than the one above, which has a strong old Hollywood glam vibe (which I am super into). This ring feels a little edgier, with its chic bezel and sweeping lines.
I love the little surprise peek of tanzanite on the side, too. It’s so unexpected and offers a beautiful cool contrast to the rest of the ring’s pinkness.
Padparadscha pear anyone? This pink ring is juicy AF. It’s a 3.44 carat padparadscha sapphire accented by 1.20 carat total weight of round diamonds. I don’t think it could possibly be any more glamorous unless it was sitting on a tiny red carpet having just emerged from a tiny limo surrounded by tiny paparazzi.
One last pretty pink precious.
This is another padparadscha, a gentle whisper of peachy pink in an irresistible hexagon. The central sapphire is petite compared to some of these, clocking in at 1.53 carats, but its shape and shade make it a truly rare treasure.
What do you think of these pretty pink rings by Omi Prive, my dears? And let us know your pick: which pink ring would you pick if you could only have one?

Thank you for showcasing such beautiful pad sapphires!
So many pad stones on the market have too much brown in them or range too far from the perfect pink/orange mix.
These pieces are a delight. And, yes, juicy AF is the appropriate technical term!

Why…..why do I only get one?!
Mean.
Oh I choose that hexagon. Please be mine.
Becky says
Ahaha it was kind of a mean question, wasn’t it? You had a fantastic answer, though: I LOVE the hexagon too.
But if you do decide you need them all…I’m not going to stop you 😉

i love the second one and last one best…not sure which of those i would choose! and i’m not normally a pink person, but that particular shade of the padparadscha family is glorious, with its peachy shading. i have already imagined the beautiful silk sari-fabric frock i wear as i sip a provencal rose in exactly this hue, and admire the sparkle of one of these lovely rings on my hand…

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful jewelry fantasy that is!! I agree that the color of the padparadschas is truly extraordinary: a pink with nuance and depth and glow. Sigh.
I’m so glad you love these too!
