I like this particular ring roundup theme that I’ve done it two times before. I promise it’ll still delight you.
Sapphires are just so great. The variety in color, the richness of the deep blues, the wonder of a perfect cornflower glint. They’re a great choice for rings, because it’s a strong stone. Since it ties with its corundum cousin, ruby, on the Mohs hardness scale (just below diamonds) it’s safe for everyday wear.
Without further ado: I give you several spectacular sapphire rings. For the third time.
How fantastic is this French Belle Epoque sapphire ring from Lang Antiques? That’s a 7 carat sapphire in that diamond-covered platinum setting.
This glorious sapphire ring from Omi Prive features a 20.03 carat center stone in a glamorous pave diamond setting.
7.18 carats of luscious blue sapphire perfection, between two delicious epaulette-cut diamonds and accented with further diamonds on the sides. Yes.
This sapphire ring by Single Stone is simple, but so perfectly elegant. I love the gently tapered shoulders.
I said “mostly” blue, remember? How could I leave out this bubblegum-hued beauty? That center stone is a 16.37-carat Pink Ceylon sapphire, flanked by 1.07 carats of trapezoid-cut white diamonds. Don’t mind if I do.
Oh, hello, you beautiful cabochon. This sapphire ring, also from Lang Antiques, features a no-heat Ceylon sapphire – just under 13 carats – surrounded by 3.50 carats of diamonds.
There’s not much info available about this one, but I thought you might not mind looking at it anyway.
Another color surprise! I never used to care much about yellow sapphires, but then my friend acquired a glorious yellow sapphire ring and seeing hers in person made me understand how magnificent they are. They’re like tiny glowing pieces of the sun. This one – a 12.23 carat unheated Ceylon sapphire in a 1950’s ring – would be incredible in person.
Another one from Lang Antiques that’s simple and utterly perfect. The central sapphire is 8.77 carats, and framed by French-cut baguette diamonds.
And in contrast to classic and perfect: here is a contemporary, outside-the-box, and gorgeous. A fabulous swirly creation by Tamir.
Another jaw-dropping sapphire ring from Omi Prive! This one even won the JCK Jewelers’ Choice award for bridal design in 2014.
