I hope you’re in the mood for something wonderfully pretty today, my darlings. These Suzy Landa pink tourmaline delights caught my eye on Instagram, and I couldn’t resist sharing them with you.
A delicious pink tourmaline, set in bright white gold and sprinkled all around with bright, white diamonds.
I love the way Suzy Landa plays with texture and space. Just look how I think the fact that each accent diamond is in its own metal bezel with space in between them, and how that design is echoed on the ring’s gallery with plain metal bumps. This kind of design element is what I think of as Suzy Landa’s signature, and it serves her very well here.
Hello, beautiful!
This is the first of the Suzy Landa pink tourmaline pieces that caught my eye. It’s just so fantastic, I can’t even deal with it. It actually reminds me of this Edwardian pendant that I featured a million years ago when I was still a little baby blogger. Except that Suzy’s version is all things modern and sleek, which the antique piece exemplifies Edwardian fussiness.
I don’t mean that critically – I’m very fond of Edwardian fussiness.
Earrings! Each one is like a frozen mobile with a pink tourmaline drop in the center. The juxtaposition of the diamond layer with the smooth and beaded layers is so textually fascinating.
My favorite thing about these pieces is that I would have expected to like them better in yellow gold: pink tourmaline and yellow gold are two of my favorite things. There’s something perfect about these Suzy Landa pink tourmaline pieces in white gold with their sparkling sprinkling of diamonds. The effect is bright and fresh, without feeling overly sweet (always a risk with big pink stones).
Hard to resist that side view.
What do you think of these Suzy Landa pink tourmaline pieces, my dears? Do they make your heart go pitter-patter the way they do mine?

Suzy Landa is an American treasure. Her prolific designs in color stone jewelry evoke a higher magnitude of beauty, value and gorgeousness for each colorway she creates in her capsule collections. We loved reading this roundup. Thank you for posting. Such gorgeous pieces. Rich-looking and wearable with great heft and brilliance. Colored stone jewelry design at its best. Love it!!

gorgeousness. i’d happily wear any of these…although, i do admit to a slight preference for the edwardian pendant, in certain ways. but i wouldn’t complain about seeing either one sparkling against my collarbones.

So pretty that I had to go to the website. So many different colored stones! I seldom feel like I’m truly looking at something new, but these are different in the best way.
