Rose gold has been trendy in engagement rings recently and it looks like it’s here to stay, at least for a while. I, for one, think that it’s marvelous. Pink is my favorite color, after all, and the more engagement rings I look at, the more I appreciate when there’s something about a certain setting that makes it stand out from the crowd. Rose gold engagement rings are just bit different, a perfect way to assert your personality in your engagement ring without throwing tradition out the window.

As I recently learned in my online GIA classes, the pink hue of rose gold is achieved by increasing the percentage of copper in the gold alloy. And did I mention how pretty they are? Let’s take a look.

I’ve actually tried on this Coast Diamond rose gold engagement ring, so I know firsthand how pretty it is. It’s shown here with the matching wedding band, which matches very well indeed.
