Ring roundup: colorful antique rings.

Alternative title: rings I would already be wearing if I could afford them.

I can’t even with these colorful antique rings. They’re too amazing. Please join me in admiring this selection of charismatic beauties.

I can’t even handle this Art Deco coral, diamond, and enamel ring. The color!!

I spent a few minutes looking at my bank account and trying to do some math before I decided to share this one with you. Victorian gold with Persian turquoise and a rose cut diamond. Stunning.

How marvelous is this Victorian English twin heart ring? It stars a 1.30 ct pear shaped diamond and 1.20 ct emerald, each surrounded by smaller stones of the contrasting color. Perfection.

This one only has a splash of color, but it’s to exceptional to leave out. Circa 1915, this Art Deco stunner has a 1.24 carat G-Vs2 old European cut center stone bordered by four channels of french cut sapphires and millegrained engraving.

This is a post dedicated to pretty earrings; these earrings aren’t innovative, they don’t have storied pasts, and they may not be the belle of the ball, but they’re all beautiful and I’d be thrilled to wear any of them.

These amethyst and diamond earrings might be my favorites of this pretty earring roundup. The lines are so lovely, with the gentle antique-inspired texture and subtle curve of the diamond-set links and the dreamy pear-shaped faceted amethyst drops.

Oh, kunzite. How wonderful you are. These glamorous white gold earrings each feature a curcular-cut diamond line that ends in a large, pear-shaped kunzite. These beauties measure 3 1/2 inches long and the kunzite drops total approximately 51.23 carats.

These lovelies remind me strongly of the Tiffany and Co. conch pearl earrings that Daisy wore in the recent Great Gatsby movie. These earrings are made with coral drops rather than conch, but the softly sparkling pink and diamond effect is very similar. The edges of the diamond-set parts are millegrained, which lends a lovely texture.

These pretties boast kunzite drops as well, dangling here in good company with diamonds and pearls. Lovely.

I thought I’d test to see if you were paying attention. They’re pretty earrings, objectively speaking, but it’s undeniable that it also looks like they’re adorned by tiny detached baby feet. Coral feet suspended from 3+ carats of diamonds, but still.

Pretty pinks: coral and diamond jewelry.

Pink is my favorite color. I know it’s a little cliche, but I can’t help what I like. It’s just so happy and pretty.

Today we’re going pink and sparkly with two pieces of coral and diamond jewelry from a recent Sotheby’s auction.

Aren’t the coral beads of this coral and diamond necklace the most wonderful creamy color? It’s really more of a choker, it’s only 13 inches long. The double-strand necklace still comprises 58 beautiful polished coral beads, joined in the back by an 18 karat gold and diamond clasp in the shape of a knot.

These fabulous coral and diamond earrings are by Van Cleef and Arpels. Two small coral cabochons on the surmounts and two larger ones on the lower sections framed by 18 karat gold embellishments set with 11.50 carats of diamonds. I love how the vaguely petal-like shapes of the gold setting evoke a floral feeling without being too on-the-nose.

This pair by Bulgari is actually my favorite of the lot. I think the long pink coral drops hanging from the vivid emerald surmounts wreathed in twinkling diamond are simply glorious.
