The fashion of the 80’s gets kind of a bad rap from history. But it definitely wasn’t all bad.

This gorgeous gold and diamond demi-parure was made by Van Cleef and Arpels in 1985. It comprises a necklace of lattice design, set with pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds. Isn’t it fabulous? I love the color contrast of the gold and the diamonds. Wait until you see the design of the necklace:

The hinged bangle is made of gold and designed with two ladies’ heads as the terminals. Each head is set with carved emeralds, circular-cut sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds. The ring is accompanied by a ring, similarly set.
