Good morning, my dears!

Did you get excited when you saw in the title that I’m showing you a new Rachael Sarc piece today? Because you should be excited.

Oh, and it’s not just any piece. This is a meteorite necklace. Made with meteorite.

It’s the coolest, right? Meteorite slabs set with .89 carats of white diamonds and alternating with Andamooka opal beads. It’s all steely-gray and glistening with points of light from the diamonds.

Plus: meteorite! From space!

Here’s a closer look. What an interesting, unique piece. It’s beautiful before you know what it is and then one you do know, it’s 10 times more amazing.

Here’s a work-in-progress photo of the meteorite necklace from Rachael’s Instagram. I love the play of color you can see in the Andamooka opal beads in this shot.

Four Color Tourmaline Earrings by Rachael Sarc.

Good morning, my dears!

Do you remember a few weeks ago when I introduced you to the fabulous Rachael Sarc and her glorious gemstone jewelry? I actually saved a couple of pieces from her collection to show you in their own posts, because they were so amazing they had to be presented solo.

Here is the first: Rachael Sarc’s Four Color Tourmaline Earrings.

Aren’t they magnificent?

Each one-of-a-kind tourmaline drop is suspended from an 18kt yellow gold and platinum setting adorned with white and yellow diamond pavè.

Aren’t the settings a gorgeous shape? It’s one of my favorite aspects of the design, besides those killer tourmaline drops. Rachael that the settings were inspired by the Eiffel tower, which she admired on a recent trip to Paris.

And here’s the tourmalines on their own, waiting for their destiny. I think that the settings Rachael Sarc created for these gemstone drops showcase the natural beauty of the tourmaline while adding visual interest and picking up the colors of the stones.

Introducing: Rachael Sarc.

Good morning, my lovelies!

I was browsing Instagram the other day (as I frequently do) when I came across a simple and gorgeous necklace that knocked my socks right off. It was geometric and colorful and interesting and just spectacular. I re-grammed it, but after looking at the designer’s website I decided that wasn’t enough: I wanted to introduce all of you to her work for real here, on the blog.

Rachael Sarc is an NYC-based jewelry line with a fresh, infinitely appealing aesthetic. There are colors and interesting geometric lines and I couldn’t resist giving you a good look. Ready?

Here’s the necklace that started it all. It’s the Denise II in pink: an 18kt rose gold pendant with rose quartz, and rock crystal quartz, and carefully positioned lines of diamond pavè. It’s sweet and fresh and stunning. It’s named after a member of Rachael’s family, like all of her pieces are.

I mean: you already know pink is my favorite color, and I’m a sucker for pieces that play with geometry. This piece is precisely my cup of tea.

This lyrical beauty is the Alyssa ring: swirls of rose gold sprinkled with diamonds.

That’s one single pair of earrings: they’re convertible into several vastly different styles, depending on the wearer’s mood. Each version is so great on its own that I didn’t even realize what I was looking at here until I read Rachael’s description.

I think they’re magnificent, and I’m so impressed by the variety they’re capable of. Convertible jewelry is always a good idea.

And how about these? The Rose Earrings: rock crystal with rose gold and diamonds.

Here’s the Denise II necklace (my fave) in yellow quartz and aquamarine with diamonds. Gorgeous, yes? Do you prefer this color combo or the all pink? I’d be hard-pressed to choose. This one is so fresh and light.

How about a fabulous cocktail ring? The Cynthia ring is 18kt white gold blue topaz and white diamond pavè.
