Like any self-professed tiara enthusiast deserving of the title, I look at a lot of tiaras. I love many of them, even though I only own three (or maybe four?).
This rose gold tiara is my favorite at the moment! It’s a collab between JY Jewels and Lady of Leisure Millinery.
Isn’t it fantastic? Bold but still sophisticated, with a parade of rose gold-dipped stars.
We’ve talked about JY Jewels before (I own and love several of her gorgeous Éclat necklaces) but I do believe this is the first rose gold tiara we’ve admired here on DitL. Jewelry designers and milliners should collaborate more often!
Some might argue that the tiara has no place in a contemporary wardrobe. I personally believe that such a viewpoint is dumb and also no fun. The right time to wear a tiara is whenever you feel like wearing a tiara.
If you love the stars but a rose gold tiara isn’t your speed, this beauty comes in yellow gold and silver as well. The color options come in handy if you’re like me and you love rose gold but it’s too close to your skin tone to look good on you.
Bonus: because these celestial stunners are gold-dipped rather than solid gold, they’re much more affordable than they could be. We’re talking three digit prices rather than five or six.
If you’re into the rose gold tiara but want something a little more traditionally headband-ish, JY Jewels/ Lady of Leisure Millinery has designed these as well!
I personally love wearing fun things on my head. It runs in the family: when I moved out of my parents’ house, my mom took over the bookshelves in my room as storage for her hat collection. I don’t think we do enough jaunty headwear in the US. It’s a serious problem and one I hope to fight by adorning my noggin whenever possible.
Want more tiaras & hair bling? I have a Pinterest board for you.
