When I saw a snap of this amazing Art Deco fan ring in a group shot on Trumpet & Horn’s Instagram, I flipped out.
I started bargaining with myself, thinking, “Okay, if it’s less than this, I’ll buy it. Or if it’s only over that by a little! I’ll make it work….who needs groceries?”
Turns out, this beauty is platinum and centered by a 0.64 carat Old European diamond, which makes it even more amazeballs but also puts it solidly out of reach of my current just-for-funzies fund.
Which is good news for you, world, because that means I didn’t take it off the market.
Could this image be any more gorgeous? The styling is absolutely breathtaking; the colors and textures are a dream. Trumpet & Horn knows what they’re doing. (Love the box, too.)
Just look at those bold, swooping Art Deco lines: geometry and the contrast of hard and soft at their finest. The juxtaposition of the vivid green emeralds against the perfect patina of the antique platinum and the sparkle on the diamonds – a 0.64 carat Old European and 10 smaller single cut accent stones – so utterly fantastic.
I also love the texture created on the fan-shaped element by the calibre cut onyx and the scalloped edge of the fan created by the row of round emeralds.
Basically, I love everything about it.
And because they are lovely people who understand what the people want, Trumpet & Horn has also shared a video of this beauty in action:
I’m not sure why T & H named this ring “Mullholland,” but I also don’t care: I just want to stare at it.
What do you think of this piece, my darlings? Do you love it as much as I do? Would you wear it as an engagement ring, or would you rather have it on your right hand?
This emerald, onyx, and diamond Art Deco fan ring is currently for sale at Trumpet & Horn. All images and info are thanks to T & H and T &H’s Instagram.

I HAVE AN OLD JEWELRY STORE IN MY AREA. THEY DO MARVELOUS REPAIR WORK!!! REASONABLE PRICES, TOO! I BROUGHT IN A STERLING SILVER GLASS OPAL PASTE RING THAT RESEMBLES (1) OF THE RINGS IN THE BOX HERE. i HAD (2) PASTES REPLACED, (1) WAS MISSING. THE OTHER PASTE HAD TURNED VERY DARK AND UGLY. PASTES DO THIS, OVER TIME SOMETIMES. WHEN I GOT THE RING BACK, IT WAS GORGEOUS! I HAVE EVEN HAD MANY WOMEN ASK WHERE I BOUGHT THE RING? THE PASTES WERE GENTLY CLEANED AND ALL PRONGS CHECKED. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL, THE RING IS NOT A GLARING COSTUME RING. IT WAS HAND MADE IN THE 1920’S. SO BEAUTIFUL! LIKE ALL IN THE BOX!

Oh I am so glad you have a good jeweler! That makes such a big difference and is so important if you’re a collector of vintage pieces.
xoxo,
Becky

Darling ! This ring is almost as
breathing as those fabulous
Deco chandelier with the onyx, diamond, emerald and bizarro yet spot-on turquoise in platinum.. I feel exactly why you’d question the authenticity of the era! Stone, not design. I’d race you with my last breath to wear them! Sneakers on Becky! Congrats on the ringβ€οΈ
With envy, respect and.sisterhood on every level,

I love it! But I also love the middle ring in the bottom row of the group shot – I feel like that would look a-ok on my hand.
Becky says
That one’s not too shabby either.
Michelle says
Nice choice, Kate. Very pretty. While we’re on emeralds, the middle right is something I would forgive someone for buying. π
Michelle says
Also, it has been sold.
Becky says
It has! I hope it found a good home.
Michelle says
Gorgeous. And I’d wear it on my right hand. All. the. time.
