I’m heard some chatter about JLo’s outfit from the recent Teen’s Choice Awards: her orange lipstick, her delicate green lace, her “new” body…etc. But I only see one thing when I look at photos of Jenny from the Block’s TCA appearance: her RINGS.

Going for variations on an emerald and diamond ring theme is one of my personal favorite finger combos: it’s colorful, fresh, and sticking to a theme makes the whole hand feel cohesive.

She sticks to the same colors, but goes for all kinds of shapes. There’s nothing but a navette-shaped stunner (antique?) on her right ring finger, while the left hand boasts a chunky navette that maaay actually be jade, a pretty three-stone, a large, color-blocked beauty and a small pinky stack or combo ring. I think her nail color is boring, but whatever. She – or her stylist – still gets major points in my book.

All you need to rock a similar finger outfit is attitude and a six-pack of emerald and diamond rings that play well together. Let’s see some options.

JLo anchored her look with two killer navettes. Why not do the same? This breathtaking beauty is Russian, circa 1899.

This little pretty by Alberian and Aulde would definitely play well with others. It’s soft and warm with its rose gold curves, with a sprinkle of sass from the emeralds.

This standout Mid-century beauty at Lang Antiques feels pretty similar to the stack (or compound ring?) that graces JLo’s pinky in the photos above (which could also be something like this). It’s a diva, but I bet you could convince it to work in a group if you chose the right backup singers.

Here’s something round to balance out all of those angles in the previous ring. Market Square Jewelers has set this gorgeous antique rose cut diamond mounting with a new emerald, creating the beautiful piece you see above.

A lovely mixed-metal emerald and diamond ring:  crisp and refreshing. Contemporary but antique-feeling. You know how I love mixed metal-settings. JLo’s choices include both hard and soft lines, so I’m offering you a selection of the same.
