Good morning, my darlings!

It’s been ages, hasn’t it? I’m back now, a happily married, thoroughly-honeymooned and very relaxed lady. (I highly recommend the thoroughly-honeymooned state).  I spent most of the past two weeks in the Caribbean, luxuriating in a delicious honeymoon-like manner on Turks and Caicos. That means I have only one color on the brain: shimmering ocean-blue turquoise.

We’re keeping it under $100 today, because my post-wedding/honeymoonbling budget is preeeeeettty minimal and I am in the mood to remind myself that there are still pretties in the world I could probably afford again someday. No regrets though: everything wedding and honeymoon related was perfection.

SPRING IS HERE.

Is it just me, or did it take its sweet time this year? In DC, anyway. I may be sneezing more than usual, but I’m a happy camper! Therefore, today’s Treat Yourself is dedicated to the sweet sweet colors of the happiest season.

Treat yourself: studly studs under $100.

Good morning, lovelies. And happy Valentine’s day eve! I decided not to do a Valentine’s Day themed post this year for the very important reason that I did not feel like doing it. Over on Book Riot, I wrote a post about treating the one person you truly cannot live without (aka: yourself) to a luxurious night.

In that vein: I suggest a little more strongly than usual that you treat yo’self to something special, my dears. You deserve it.

I’ve been really into stud earrings recently. They’re cute, easy, and you can wear a necklace with them. They’re also the best way to punch up an otherwise barely outfit-ey outfit: for example, if you see me at the grocery store in yoga pants and a sweatshirt, you can bet there’s a pop of sparkle at my earlobes.
