Good morning, my darlings.
You’ve heard so much about my wedding during the planning process (and been so patient while I was running around looking at flowers and being fitted and so forth) that I wanted to share some of my big day with you.
Mr. DitL and I were married on May 30th, 2015, at the beautiful Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace, Maryland. It was a warm day, but beautiful, and we said “I do” surrounded by flowers, sunshine, and our most beloved friends and family. I wore the dress of my dreams and sparkled in antique diamonds lent by the fabulous Lang Antiques.
These beautiful photos are all the work of our wonderful photographer, Angel Kidwell. If you’re getting married in the DC/Maryland area, you can’t do better than Angel.
And then: happily ever after. Or at least, then was our honeymoon in Turks and Caicos, which was an extremely happy beginning to ever after. I’m pretty optimistic about the rest of forever, too.
Come back on Monday, darlings, and I’ll give you the full scope on those glorious Lang Antiques’ diamonds you see twinkling on my bridal neck and ears. Trust me, you want a closer look.

You make a gorgeous bride! I love the romantic vintage vibe with a little old Hollywood feel to it. Absolutely flawless!
I thought your venue looked fimilar!!! I love going to the promenade, going to antique stores and bomboys. Havre de grace is such a beautiful little town. I live right over the bridge. I just found your site and am keeping it bookmarked so I can support a fellow bling loving neighbor ❤ … PS many congrats on your wedding!

Aww, what a lovely comment! Especially from a neighbor 😉 I’m a lifelong Marylander myself – grew up in Silver Spring and have been in the area ever since.
I am delighted that you found your way here. Please stop by anytime!
xoxo,
Becky

Beautiful wedding! Small world! My dad is from Havre de Grace!!! He lived on S. Union. I think it was 326, but will have to double check. I love Havre de Grace! I haven’t been back in a while, but hope to get there in the next year or so. I still order Bomboy’s candy online every now and then! 🙂
Becky says
How funny! Small world indeed. Havre de Grace is so beautiful – and I totally feel you on Bomboy’s. Thanks so much for your comment!
